Halfway Down the Rabbit Hole

It seems that Paul Martin (mr P.M) has just called an election...Funny thing is it's taking place in about a month; our neighbours to the south have an 8-month (possibly longer) election campaign going on between the democrats (headed by John Kerry), and the Republicans (headed by George dubya (W.) Bush. This almost seems like a Deja Vu. At the beginning of Bush's term..while they were still deciding whether or not Bush or Gore had one, there was a recount in florida, headed by Gov. Jeb Bush. While that was happening we had our election quick and easy and Jean Chretien was re-elected. A couple years later, he resigned, giving up the P.M position to Paul Martin.
This election, Paul Martin is against the leader of the party formerly known as the Conservatories and the Canadian Alliance. Both of the aforementioned parties merged to form the New Conservative Party of something to that effect. Their leader is Stephen Harper. So who to vote for? I don't know, but K-Town itself has been known for being largely Liberal (Martin, McGuinty, Milliken) in its voting pattern despite hearing others vote for alternatives.

It seems no matter where you go you are met with politics; everything seems to have its own set of politics and it gets really ugly really soon. It seems to divide most of the crowd into two areas, those who are willing to trudge through the swamp until they reach, the end and those that climb a tree and look for a way to swing their way out of it. While others seem content to stay in the mud as long as they don't drown in it.

Last Saturday I went to Canada's Wonderland with some friends to see 5 Christian bands play. Starting from the first band, they were: Thousand Foot Krutch, Relient K, Superchick, Audio Adrenaline, and Newsboys. Oddly enough, they were also arranged from worst performance to best performance. There were a lot of people there and they all stayed for the last concert despite the rain, cold, and wind. It was worth it though; the Newsboys were awesome.
On another note I've made a big change to the CACT Website I maintain. It looks really different and has (in my opinion) a more efficient navigation system. Soon I will be adding movie clips of the robot operating.
As i noted in the last post, last week was the series finale of Friends. While it was a good episode for fans, it was also predictable when following the plot. Kinda like the third matrix movie. Tonight is the series finale for Frasier and while I haven't watched very many (maybe 4 in all) episodes it's always interesting to see series finales. (i've seen them for Star Trek Voyager, TNG, & Friends, maybe others as well). It might be interesting.

Wahoo! I just came back from my first day on the summer job. My official title is marketing assistant, so what i'm currently doing is updating/restructuring the website. I'm not sure how long that will take but afterwards I'll be helping to build a miniature sized model of another robot. That'll be cool. But the best part of it all is that I have a job for the summer with regular hours, and I am done first year of college. Anyways...It's been a while since I last updated so there's the most recent update.

Also, the friends series finally is tonight at about 7ish...Though I haven't been watching Friends for a while it'd still be interesting to see. Ad agencies are paying up to $2 million (US) for a 30 second commercial.
