Halfway Down the Rabbit Hole

7.28.2004

It seems as if I've been to a lot of movies lately. Since the last update I've also seen I, Robot, (the one with Will Smith), Arthur, and Bourne Supremacy.

I Robot was seemingly the best of the three. It had a good story with an interesting idea and plenty of action. The idea was taken from Isaac Asimov's short stories.

Bourne Supremacy was the sequel to Bourne Identity, which was about the assassin with amnesia. Most of the movie was done fairly well except for the car chase scene which seemed a bit shaky at times so it was hard to follow everything. Afterwards we received courtesy coupons offering a free admission because apparently there were scratches in the film. I'm not sure who noticed them, the projectionist (the dude (tte) that runs the projector that shows the movie) or someone in the audience. There was a pretty full crowd there. I had to go there after my dentist appt., which was right after work so I didn't really get home until a little after 9pm.

Arthur was the medieval movie about well...Arthur before he became king and built Camelot. I'm not too sure about Arthurian Legend but it seems to conflict with certain tales of it. Nonetheless it was a good movie that I'm partial to because I really enjoy medieval movies.

I should start playing/practicing the piano more. Haven't played it for a while. And this seems to be the only part I do seem to update of my website, which I probably haven't updated in a year.

Since my last blog Craig came down too. A very good friend from high school, he was going to move to see if he could come to an Ontario university but due to timing complications was unable to and so is going to Univ of Calgary i think.

This past weeked I went camping in a campsite just outside of cornwall. It was called Long Sault Parkway, on Mclaren Island. It was ok; the camping part was fun at least. I got bitten many times and it was very very cold the first night and morning...
